· Gloucester County Schools closed Friday. In addition, all afternoon and evening events today and tomorrow cancelled, including all Parks, Recreation and Tourism classes and community use at Achilles and Botetourt Schools
· Gloucester Planning Commission meeting Thursday night cancelled. The public hearings rescheduled for October 3rd.
· The Gloucester Utilities Advisory Committee meeting Thursday night cancelled.
· Gloucester Museum of History closed Friday.
· Gloucester County Circuit Court and Clerks Office closed Friday.
· Gloucester County Parks closed Friday and Greate Road (at the entrance to Gloucester Point Beach Park) will be closed starting Thursday night. Staff will assess storm damage first thing Saturday morning and will reopen facilities as soon as possible.
· Both Chesapeake Bank and Chesapeake Wealth Management will open at 10:00 AM on Friday, September 6th.
· All York County School Division after-school and evening activities, including athletics, are canceled Thursday, September 5. All schools and offices will be closed Friday, September 6, with all Friday and weekend activities also canceled. Essential personnel will be notified of work schedules by their supervisors.
