MATHEWS HISTORICAL MUSEUM TO HOST 3rd ANNUAL CHRISTMAS BAZAAR

 
Mathews Historical Museum opens its doors to Christmas shoppers  Friday, December 9th, prior to Santa’s arrival on Main Street, Saturday, December 10th. 
The two-day Museum event will showcase the talents of area artisans who will be displaying jewelry, baked goods, holiday greens and other treasures.
*A special holiday lunch of homemade chili and grilled hot dogs, and cider will be available in the afternoon 
*A home made fish chowder  inspired by Mathews’ Southwind Cafe will be available for take-home. Order before Thursday, December 1st at www.mathewsvamuseum.org
$10 in advance, $13 at the door as supplies last
*P. Buckley Moss, internationally acclaimed artist, has dedicated a special offering which honors Mathews County and its rich maritime history. Available at the Museum during the Bazaar will be these specially designed trivets and paintings depicting the New Point lighthouse, and another of a deadrise, the “workboat” of the Chesapeake. Two additional pieces will be created for each of the next two Mathews County May Faire events in 2023 and 2024.
