BEAVERDAM TRIATHLON

Parks, Recreation & Tourism is sponsoring the first Annual Beaverdam Triathlon on Saturday, May 11 at 7:00 am for ages 16 and older.  The race consists of a 2.5-mile run, a 6.1-mile bike and a 1.9-mile paddle.  Mountain Bikes and recreational canoes and kayaks only, no street bikes or racing watercraft.  The fee is $50, and the registration deadline is Thursday, April 11th.

KIDS CRAFT MARKET

Parks, Recreation & Tourism is sponsoring a Kids Craft Market on Saturday, May 18 from 9:00 am-1:00 pm in the Courtcircle.  Youth ages 18 and under rent a booth to sell their crafts/art.  The fee for each 10x10 space is $25 and the deadline to register is Wednesday, May 1st.  If space is still available after May 1st, there will be a $10 late fee.

BEST YEARS TRIP TO VIRGINIA INTERNATIONAL TATTOO

Parks, Recreation & Tourism is sponsoring a trip to Scope for the Virginia International Tattoo on Sunday, April 21 from Noon to 6:30 pm.  We will have lunch at Scope on your own.  The fee is  and the deadline is Sunday, April 14th.

BEST YEARS TRIP TO THE SOUND OF MUSIC

Parks, Recreation & Tourism is sponsoring a trip to the Little Theater of Smithfield to see the Sound of Music on Sunday, May 5th from 12:30-7:00 pm.  The fee is $45 and the deadline is Sunday, April 14th.

BINGO

Parks, Recreation & Tourism is sponsoring Bingo for ages 55 and over on Wednesday, April 24 from 10:30 am to Noon at the Stewart Building.  Winnings are prizes no cash.  The fee is $10 and the deadline to register is Wednesday, April 17th.

FREE FLOW YOGA

Parks, Recreation & Tourism is sponsoring Free Flow Yoga on Tuesdays in May from 5:30-6:45 pm at the Whitcomb Lodge.  The fee is $40 for the whole month or $9 per day and the deadline is Tuesday, April 30th.

BEST YEARS TRIP TO THE WIZARD OF OZ

Parks, Recreation & Tourism is sponsoring to Riverside Center for Performing Arts on Wednesday, June 12 from 9:30 am -6:45 pm to see the Wizard of Oz.  Lunch is included.  The fee is $130 and the deadline is Tuesday, April 30th.

BEST YEARS TRIP HENRICUS

Parks, Recreation & Tourism is sponsoring to Henricus on Wednesday, May 15 from 8:45 am -3:30 pm.  We will tour Henricus and stop on the way home for lunch, on your own.  The fee is $45 and the deadline is Wednesday, May 8th.
