The Netflix phenomenon KPop Demon Hunters celebrates the one-year anniversary of its release on Saturday, June 20. The animated film has gone on to dominate the streaming service's "most-watched" list, global pop culture and the Billboard charts in equal measure.

Here's a look at KPop Demon Hunters by the numbers, courtesy of Netflix:

- It's the first title ever to spend 52 straight weeks on Netflix's Global Top 10.

- It was the most-streamed movie of 2025, with 20.5 billion viewing minutes.

- KPop Demon Hunters' lyric videos drew 32 million views worldwide.

- The soundtrack spent two weeks at #1 on Billboard 200, and racked up more than 15 billion streams worldwide, making it the most-streamed soundtrack of the decade.

- The HUNTR/X song "Golden" was #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 for eight weeks, becoming the first-ever #1 by a female K-pop act, and the longest-running #1 by a female group in this century. It was also the fastest song to reach a billion streams on Spotify.

- In addition to "Golden," the soundtrack also sent three other songs into the top 10 simultaneously: "Your Idol," "Soda Pop" and "How It's Done."

- At the Oscars earlier this year, KPop Demon Hunters won best animated feature, while "Golden" won best original song, making it the first K-pop song to win an Oscar. "Golden" also won the Golden Globe in the same category, and the Grammy in the category of best song written for visual media.

- Since the film's debut, Duolingo has seen a 22% jump in Korean language learners.

On Saturday, the official Netflix TikTok account will host a nine-hour livestream featuring multiple versions of the film, plus appearances from fans, cast members and filmmakers, live commentary and more.

Artificial, the upcoming film by director Luca Guadagnino, will no longer be released by Amazon MGM Studios.

The studio confirmed the news to ABC Audio on Friday.

"We have the utmost respect and admiration for Luca Guadagnino as an award-winning filmmaker – not to mention a longstanding relationship that we hope to continue," an Amazon spokesperson said in a statement. "We believe that Artificial will be better served if it were released by a different studio and are working closely with the filmmaking team to find the film a new home."

Artificial is described as a comedic drama about the world of artificial intelligence. It explores Sam Altman's OpenAI during a period in 2023 when Altman was fired and rehired in a matter of days. It is directed by Guadagnino from a script by Saturday Night Live alum Simon Rich.

The film's cast includes Mark Rylance, Andrew Garfield, Yura Borisov, Monica Barbaro, Billie Lourd, Jason Schwartzman, Cooper Koch, Cooper Hoffman and Ike Barinholtz.

It would have reunited Guadagnino and Amazon MGM Studios after he directed the 2024 film Challengers for the studio, as well as 2025's After the Hunt.

Joan Cusack, Greta Lee on the technology takeover in 'Toy Story 5'

Woody (Tom Hanks) and Buzz Lightyear (Tim Allen) in 'Toy Story 5.' (Pixar)

Toy Story 5 rides like the wind into theaters on Friday. Joan Cusack once again stars as the voice of Jessie in the film.

Cusack told ABC News that now, after all this time, she hopes she's more like Jessie than she is like Joan.

"I strive to be more like Jessie," Cusack said. "She's fearless and hopeful and relentless and loving and all the good things. She's like the ideal parent, I think, which is so sweet that they captured that in a toy."

The fifth installment in the Toy Story franchise introduces a new character in Greta Lee's Lilypad. The smart tablet represents how technology threatens to take over playtime. Lee said while she grew up with some tech in her childhood, she was "on the cusp of all of it."

"I'm so thankful that I had a childhood that was completely free of all this. So I know what that's like, as opposed to my own kids who actually don't have that at all," Lee said. "It's so different now. And the kids are — I'm worried that they're losing the ability to go back to basics, basically, and form real connections, human connections, without the assistance of these screens."

Toy Story 5 is an emotional watch, Lee said. She watched the film for the first time with Cusack, and said she cried six times.

"I was so moved by it. I really was, and I laughed so much, too. I'm so genuinely proud of the movie," Lee said, noting that while making the Pixar animated film they had only watched clips featuring their respective characters ahead of time.

"We saw it for the first time as fans, basically. And they did such an amazing job."

Your heart may grow three sizes, because a sequel to How the Grinch Stole Christmas is in the works.

Universal Pictures and Imagine Entertainment are developing a live-action sequel to the 2000 holiday blockbuster film, ABC Audio has confirmed.

Jim Carrey is in talks to reprise his role as The Grinch in the new movie. Ron Howard, who directed the original film, is set to return at the helm.

How the Grinch Stole Christmas and this new, currently untitled film are, of course, based on the beloved book by Dr. Seuss. Alec Berg, Jeff Schaffer and David Mandel are writing the new film's screenplay. The trio also wrote the 2003 live-action adaptation of The Cat in the Hat, which starred Mike Myers.

Dr. Seuss’s How the Grinch Stole Christmas opened in theaters on Nov. 18, 2000, and earned over $345 million at the worldwide box office. It was the highest-grossing domestic release that year and won the Academy Award for best makeup.

Ben Stiller confirms upcoming Knicks documentary with A24

Ben Stiller is working on a documentary about the New York Knicks.

The actor opened up about what he called a "dream project" in a new interview.

"Couldn’t be more excited to make this doc with @A24 and @HBO about the NY KNICKS!!!!!! #LETSGOKNICKS," the actor and director wrote in an X post Wednesday.

The Knicks' hometown held a ticker-tape parade on Thursday to celebrate their first NBA championship since 1973 last weekend.

Stiller, a Knicks fan, has been seen recording video footage with an iPhone courtside at recent games and throughout the last season.

He discussed the project with Knicks captain and MVP Jalen Brunson, Knicks guard Josh Hart and their co-host Matt Hillman on the latest Roommates Show podcast.

"We are officially making a documentary about the New York Knicks for HBO, and doing it with A24, and full cooperation of [Madison Square Garden] and NBA," Stiller said.

"Obviously, I've been shooting some stuff on my phone but it's kind of gonna be about all eras of the Knicks and this team, obviously, you know, there's a culmination here of something that has been going on for a long time," Stiller continued. "It's super exciting."

Stiller said he plans on filming more footage, including interviews with Knicks players, in the next Knicks season as well.

"There's so many great eras. And this team, I think, you know, when you look at the '70s championships, the '90s runs and then this team doing it again, I think there's just so much within that," said Stiller, adding that he wants to make a doc "for the fans."

A24 also confirmed to ABC News Wednesday that a "landmark" documentary about the Knicks and their legacy is in progress and the "multi-part series" will cover the NBA team's culture and history.

"The series will trace the full arc of the franchise from the 90s to the improbable, record-breaking run that finally returned a championship to New York. The series is expected to offer unprecedented NBA access, never-before-seen footage, and a definitive look at one of basketball's most iconic stories," said the production company.

'Leviticus' director, star talk mixing horror with romance

Joe Bird as Naim and Stacy Clausen as Ryan in 'Leviticus.' (NEON)

Horror is the hottest ticket at the box office this summer, with films like Backrooms and Obsession finding success in the theaters. Joining that wave of buzzy new films in the genre is the Australian horror romance Leviticus.

Written and directed by Adrian Chiarella in his feature debut, the film tackles themes of homophobia through a supernatural lens.

“What if there was some ritual that put some seed of fear inside of its victims to make them scared of their own desires? And that's where I came up with this idea of a horror movie monster or an entity that looks like the person you're most attracted to,” Chiarella tells ABC Audio of the film’s premise.

He adds, “And once I had that, I thought, well, now I've got a horror movie, but I really want to focus on this other thing that I'm interested in, which is the love story.”

Joe Bird and Stacy Clausen star as Naim and Ryan, the two teenage boys at the center of the love story who are each forced to undergo a ritual in their devoutly Christian community with the aim of scaring them straight.

“I think the love story has to work for the horror to work,” Bird says. “Because I think you've got to care about these characters and care about this relationship.”

The film was an early success at Sundance and SXSW, and reviews have been drawing comparisons to the queer hockey romance series Heated Rivalry – with one Letterboxd review dubbing it “Haunted Rivalry.” Chiarella and Bird say they appreciate being mentioned alongside an impactful piece of media.

“They're two very different things, I think, but it is exciting that there's this kind of ecosystem of queer stories that exists and that can sort of allow audiences to keep the conversation going,” Chiarella says.

Leviticus hits theaters Friday.

Zendaya, Tom Holland appear in new 'Spider-Man: Brand New Day' trailer

Film still from 'Spider-Man: Brand New Day.' (Sony Pictures)

A new trailer for Spider-Man: Brand New Day is here.

Ahead of the Destin Daniel Cretton-directed film's theatrical release on July 31, a new trailer dropped on Wednesday featuring Tom Holland as Peter Parker, Zendaya as MJ and more.

The new trailer sees Holland entering the Spider-Verse again, and this time, he's spinning out of control in the aftermath of 2021's Spider-Man: No Way Home, when he asked Doctor Strange for a spell to make the world forget he's Spidey after his secret identity was exposed.

Brand New Day follows Peter as he fights crime full-time as Spider-Man "in a world that doesn't remember him," according to the synopsis for the film.

"The pressure of seeing his old friends move on without him -- sparks a change in Peter he may not have the power to control," the synopsis adds. "But that transformation might also be the only thing that can stop a shocking new threat to the city and those he loves -- a powerful villain no one can even see."

The synopsis continues, "The world may have forgotten Peter Parker, but he hasn't forgotten them."

The film also sees the return of familiar Marvel faces Jon Bernthal as Punisher and Mark Ruffalo as Hulk. We also get Jacob Batalon as Peter's pal Ned and Michael Mando as villain Scorpion, with Sadie Sink and Tramell Tillman joining as new characters.

The press tour for the new film also began this week with Zendaya and Holland stepping out together in Madrid during a photo call for the film.

Brand New Day is the fourth Spidey solo adventure starring Holland after 2017's Spider-Man: Homecoming, 2019's Spider-Man: Far From Home and 2021's Spider-Man: No Way Home. It's the 38th movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe

Marvel is owned by Disney, the parent company of ABC News and "Good Morning America."

Olivia Wilde still 'doesn't understand' why relationship with Harry Styles 'really did upset people'

Over three years after their breakup, Harry Styles' former girlfriend Olivia Wilde is addressing the fact that their relationship really made fans angry.

While appearing on the Call Her Daddy podcast, host Alex Cooper asked the director and actress why she thought her romance with Harry was so "triggering." "It really did upset people," Olivia said, referring to the fact that she's 10 years older than Harry.

"It was crazy, I don’t know how much I understand it yet. That’s one of the factors that I never really felt I like fully … I don’t know," she said. "I mean, I know that it has existed for a very long time in our society. I understand it had very little to do with me. It is something that we have ... done ... to women for a long time. Why is it? I don't know. People were f****** pissed.”

Olivia also chalked it up to the "kind of parasocial relationship people have" with Harry, adding that it's a "burden" that he "carries ... with grace."

She added, "It's wild because, I mean, we had the loveliest relationship. Like so, so sweet and so beautiful and like, really, actually, very domestic and kind and lovely." She noted that she and Harry "existed in this little bubble" where they weren't affected by the negativity.

But, she acknowledged, "It's almost like the happiness made them mad." She recalled how people would criticize her for attending his shows and dancing.

Olivia and Harry started dating while he was starring in her movie Don't Worry Darling. They split in late 2022. Harry is now allegedly engaged to Zoë Kravitz, but neither Harry nor Zoë has confirmed that.

Sandra Oh is in talks to team up with the filmmakers behind Everything Everywhere All at Once.

The actress is being eyed to star opposite Matt Damon in Universal Pictures' upcoming, untitled event film from directors Daniels, ABC Audio has learned.

Universal Pictures had no comment when reached by ABC Audio.

Damon replaced Ryan Gosling in the project back in May. Gosling was announced to star in the film in March, although he dropped out of the project in April due to scheduling reasons.

This upcoming event film marks the first directing project for Daniels, the filmmaking duo of Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert, since sweeping the 95th Oscars in 2023 for their groundbreaking film Everything Everywhere All at Once. That movie walked away with seven Oscars, including best picture, best actress, best supporting actor, best director and best supporting actress.

While plot details of the upcoming film remain under wraps, production on the project is expected to start in Los Angeles in the summer.

Kwan, Scheinert and Jonathan Wang will produce the movie through their Playgrounds overall deal with Universal Pictures.

The currently untitled film will release in theaters on Nov. 29, 2027.

Mike Myers says there will be an 'Austin Powers 4'

Groovy, baby!

Mike Myers says there will be a fourth film in the Austin Powers franchise.

The actor seemingly announced the news after he was asked if another film in the franchise was in the works during Trevor Noah’s World Cup Watch Party on Tuesday. Noah posted a clip of the moment to his Instagram.

When Noah asked Myers if fans were ever going to see a fourth film, he simply answered, "Yes." There was no further elaboration from the actor.

"Wow, that was a quick yes," Noah said in response.

"Did Mike Myers just casually reveal Austin Powers 4?!" Noah captioned his post.

The first film in the Austin Powers franchise, International Man of Mystery, was released in 1997. It was followed by its sequel, The Spy Who Shagged Me, in 1999. The third movie, Goldmember, debuted to theaters in 2002.

This would make a potential fourth Austin Powers movie the first in over 20 years. Jay Roach directed all three of the previous films.
