Imagine getting an invite to Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding and ignoring it. That’s exactly what happened to music producer Garret “Jacknife” Lee, his wife Melissa Garner Lee tells The Huffington Post.

In a piece titled “My Husband Deleted Our Invitation to Taylor Swift’s Wedding. When He Told Me Why, I Lost My Mind,” Garner Lee says her husband thought the invite was “spam” so he never clicked on it and they missed their chance to go.

While Garner Lee says she was upset to miss the wedding, she writes, “A missed wedding will not be what breaks us. We’re stronger than that. Still, it would’ve been fun to see her dress.”

Garret Lee co-wrote and produced “The Last Time” on Taylor’s 2012 album, Red.

Taylor and Travis got hitched on July 3 at New York City’s Madison Square Garden.

Rod Stewart and Bryan Adams are among the artists paying tribute to "Total Eclipse of the Heart" singer Bonnie Tyler, who died Wednesday at the age of 75.

"We shared similar styles of vocalizing. She was a good pal and a true soul stirrer," Stewart wrote in a post on Instagram. "I sing ‘It’s a Heartache’ every night on tour," referring to Tyler’s first big hit, which peaked at #3 in the U.S.

He ended the post with “I’ll miss you darling Bonnie.”

Adams also remembered Tyler, writing on X that she "had such a great voice." He added, "I’ll always be grateful for her beautiful version of Straight From The Heart. Thanks Bonnie RIP."

"Straight From the Heart" was the lead single on Adams’ 1983 album, Cuts Like a Knife. That same year, Tyler released it as a single in the U.K., and the cover appeared on her album Faster Than the Speed of Night.

Actress Catherine Zeta-Jones also remembered the singer on social media, noting that Tyler was married to her cousin.

"My heart is broken with the news that our dearest Bonnie Tyler has passed away,” Zeta-Jones wrote on Instagram, revealing that Tyler sang at her wedding to actor Michael Douglas.

“An extraordinary woman with vocals to match,” she wrote of Tyler. “A one of kind artist, who so easily could have been a comedian because she was one of the funniest people I ever met.”

Tyler’s family announced her death Thursday, revealing she died in a hospital in Portugal, where she was being treated for an illness. It was announced in May that she was in "seriously ill but stable" condition after being placed in a medically induced coma as she recovered from emergency intestinal surgery.

FX has announced that the season will premiere to Hulu on Sept. 24.

‘Total Eclipse of the Heart’ singer Bonnie Tyler dead at 75

Bonnie Tyler, the singer known for hits including "Total Eclipse of the Heart" and "Holding Out for a Hero" died on Wednesday, according to a statement attributed to her family and team. She was 75.

The Welsh singer died in a hospital in Portugal, where she was being treated for an illness, according to the statement, which was posted on the singer's official social media channel.

"We will issue a further statement shortly but for now ask for privacy to deal with this tragedy," the statement said.

Born Gaynor Hopkins on June 8, 1951, in Wales, Tyler’s distinctive husky voice helped her climb the charts. She landed her first big hit in 1977 with the track “It’s a Heartache,” which peaked at #3 in the U.S. and #4 in the U.K.

But it was the 1983 hit “Total Eclipse of the Heart” that launched her career to superstardom. The track, written and produced by Jim Steinman, known for his hits with Meat Loaf, spent four weeks at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100, and also topped the charts in the U.K. and several other countries. The song's video has been watched over 1 billion times on YouTube, and the tune has been streamed over 1 billion times on Spotify.

The track, which appeared on Tyler's fifth studio album, Faster than the Speed of Night, earned Tyler a Grammy nomination for best female pop vocal performance. It went on to sell over 6 million copies and has been certified Gold by the RIAA.

Tyler’s other big U.S. hit was “Holding Out For a Hero,” also written by Steinman, which appeared on the soundtrack to the 1984 film Footloose; it later appeared on her sixth studio album, Secret Dreams and Forbidden Fire. While the song was only a top-40 hit in the U.S., peaking at #34, it grew in popularity over the years thanks to its use in a variety of commercials and movie trailers, including the trailer for Guardians of the Galaxy and the 2026 film Masters of the Universe.

While her biggest successes came in the '80s, Tyler continued to put out music, releasing 18 albums over the course of her career. Her last album was 2021's The Best Is Yet to Come.

Among Tyler's accolades, she was nominated for three Grammy awards and three Brit Awards. In 2022 she was appointed a Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) by Queen Elizabeth II.

Tyler's family shared a statement in May saying that she was in "seriously ill but stable" condition after being put in a medically induced coma as she recovered from emergency intestinal surgery.

A month later, her family shared another statement, saying Tyler was still recovering and that she "remains very unwell and in intensive care" in a hospital in Portugal.

Travis Kelce is looking back on his proposal to Taylor Swift in his first podcast episode released since the couple's wedding last week.

In an episode of New Heights released Wednesday morning — the show's season 4 finale featuring NFL star Tom Brady — Travis reflected on asking Taylor to be his wife last August after she appeared on the show.

"Ending this season with Tom Brady. Pretty epic. Starting it with Taylor. Pretty epic," he said.

"During that recording, the entire time I'm planning, like I'm gonna ask this woman to marry me after this," he said.

"Obviously, the beginning of it, with Taylor, is one I'll remember forever," he added.

New Heights co-host Jason Kelce, Travis' brother, chimed in, "It's by far our most viewed episode of all time."

Taylor appeared on the podcast last August and touched on her relationship with Travis, including meeting him for the first time.

The Kansas City Chiefs star tried to give the singer a friendship bracelet with his number on it before they eventually met, but the plan fell through.

"It was such a wild romantic gesture," she said about Travis' attempt to give the Grammy winner his bracelet.

Taylor said the attempt "felt more like I was in an '80s John Hughes movie and he was like standing outside of my window with a boombox, just being like, 'I wanna date you!'"

Taylor and Travis wed last Friday in a high-profile Madison Square Garden event that saw a flurry of high-profile celebrities converge in the iconic New York City venue to celebrate the music icon and NFL star.

Judge dismisses poet's copyright infringement lawsuit against Taylor Swift

A federal judge in Florida has dismissed a poet's lawsuit alleging Taylor Swift stole her themes and ideas to write the songs "The Man," "The Great War," "I Can Do it with a Broken Heart" and more.

Self-published poet Kimberly Marasco alleged Swift infringed on her rights in various poems she had written between 2017 and 2021, which Swift denied.

Among the allegations in her lawsuit, which identified several Swift songs released between 2019 and 2024, Marasco claimed that Swift infringed on her poem "Ordinary Citizen" — which contained the line, "I'm running behind/ You say it's His word against mine" — with the song "The Man," which contains the lyric, "I'm so sick of running as fast as I can/ Wondering if I'd get there quicker if I was a man."

Both the poem and Swift's song describe a woman working in a male-dominated office environment, Marasco alleged.

Marasco also alleged Swift's song "The Great War" (with the lyrics "Diesel is desire, you were playing with fire") infringed on her poem "The Fire" (which contains the line "Anger fuels our desire ... I'm fighting fire with fire") because both use the metaphor of "desire as fuel and fire."

Marasco's lawsuit also listed music producer Jack Antonoff, Republic Records, Universal Music Group and musician Aaron Dessner as defendants.

In her ruling on Tuesday, Judge Aileen Cannon wrote that these are "quintessential themes, concepts and isolated words" that copyright law does not protect.

Cannon granted Swift's motion to dismiss, ruling that Marasco's poems "do not contain protectable expression and that, regardless, Plaintiff has failed to plausibly plead copying."

Tuesday's ruling came in response to Marasco's second amended complaint on the matter and was dismissed with prejudice, meaning it cannot be filed again.

In her decision Tuesday, Cannon wrote that the second amended complaint "closely mirrors" Marasco's initial copyright infringement lawsuit against Swift, which was "dismissed with prejudice in September 2025 after concluding that Plaintiff had pled no protectable expression and had not plausibly alleged unlawful copying."

"As this Court already determined in Marasco I, the allegedly infringed material-basic ideas, themes, metaphors, isolated words, and short phrases- is not protected expression and cannot be infringed," Cannon wrote, referencing Marasco's initial lawsuit. "Plaintiff has also failed to plausibly allege either access or substantial similarity, each of which is independently required to plead copying."

ABC News has reached out to Marasco and a representative for Swift for comment.

Noah Kahan is 'always exercising' his writing 'muscle' while on tour

Noah Kahan (Patrick McCormack)

Noah Kahan's current tour in support of his latest album, The Great Divide, hits Boston's Fenway Park Tuesday for the first of four sold-out shows. But even in the middle of this massive world tour, Noah said he's already thinking about his next album, because he didn't do that last time he toured.

"Yeah, I'm always writing. I think a mistake I made in the last tour was I didn't think about writing at all and I just wanted to focus on tour," he told ABC Audio.

As a result, when Noah did sit down to try to write the album that became The Great Divide, he became depressed and anxious. He ended up having what he's referred to as an "OCD meltdown," which required him to go back on medication. So, this time around, Noah is trying to make sure that doesn't happen.

"Now I'm making sure I'm always exercising the muscle, and continuing to be creative and try to discover more about myself," he said. "And not just, you know, live in the praise or the negativity or whatever it is. You know, trying to, like, have control over the creative as time goes on and things get crazy."

But that doesn't mean he's not enjoying the tour, which is going to take him to Europe, the U.K., Australia and New Zealand. As he told ABC Audio, one of his favorite things is being onstage and hearing his fans singing his songs back to him.

"That's the best feeling in the world," he said. "I mean, there's a lot of lyrics in there, so people's linguistic skills are definitely high right now. And people knowing the lyrics always means the world to me."

Bon Jovi fans have been waiting for this day for more than four years.

The New Jersey rockers are returning to the road with the launch of the Forever Tour at New York’s Madison Square Garden on Tuesday.

The tour is the band’s first since 2022, and their first since frontman Jon Bon Jovi underwent vocal cord surgery that year. His recovery was detailed in the band’s 2024 Hulu documentary, Thank You, Good Night: The Bon Jovi Story.

“It’s been a slog,” he told Planet Rock in 2024 of his recovery. “Nothing that I would ever wish on my worst enemy.”

Bon Jovi announced the tour in October, with Jon thanking fans for sticking by him.

“I’m deeply grateful that the fans and the brotherhood of this band have been patient and allowed me the time needed to get healthy and prepare for touring,” he said. “I’m ready and excited!”

As for his voice, Jon told People in June he’s “fully recovered." He noted, “It was longer than I’d ever expected, but it had to be right. We never lost faith.”

Fans can expect plenty of hits when the band takes the stage again; one song that's pretty much guaranteed to be on the setlist is their iconic track “Livin’ on a Prayer.” Bon Jovi previously asked fans to submit videos of themselves singing the iconic hit for a chance to be featured as part of the tour visuals.

Bon Jovi’s Forever Tour begins with nine shows at MSG, which are the tour’s only U.S. dates. It will then head to the U.K. for shows in Ireland and Scotland, before wrapping with three nights at London's Wembley Stadium.

A complete list of dates can be found at BonJovi.com.

Mother of the groom Donna Kelce and more celebrity attendees are opening up about Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's Madison Square Garden nuptials last week.

One day after the July 3 wedding, which saw a flurry of high-profile celebrities converge in the iconic New York City venue to celebrate the music icon and NFL star, Donna Kelce appeared in a Macy's social media video and briefly described her son's wedding.

"I really can't say a heck of a lot except it was magical, man, magical," Donna Kelce said in the video, answering a submitted question about the wedding.

Swift and Travis Kelce wed in a ceremony officiated by actor and comedian Adam Sandler, a representative for Swift confirmed to ABC News on Friday.

Author Glennon Doyle and her wife, former U.S. soccer player Abby Wambach, also shared a photo on Instagram on Sunday revealing their wedding guest looks and celebrating the ceremony.

In the caption, Doyle offered well-wishes for Travis Kelce and Swift. Doyle also responded to a commenter's question, asking if the event was "fabulous."

"Yes. And tender. And somehow so big yet so… small," she wrote. "Intentional, real. So much joy. And I can say without hyperbole that I've never witnessed a happier bride or groom."

Director and Swift collaborator Joseph Kahn, known for his music videos, shared details about the event on Instagram, saying he even got to speak with Steven Spielberg and his wife, Kate Capshaw.

"What I will say about the wedding was it was so much funnier and emotional than expected, and as big as it was, it also felt very intimate. And yes, literally everyone was there," he added, before sending well-wishes to the newlyweds.

Singer Kelsea Ballerini referenced a Swift song to commemorate the event, while sharing her look from the night — an olive green strapless gown — on X.

"Long live a love story," she wrote. "Congrats on the most beautiful wedding @taylorswift13 @tkelce i'm still crying and dancing."

Harry Styles has officially broken the record for longest residency by a musician at London’s Wembley Stadium during a single run.

He achieved the milestone after completing his 12th consecutive show at the venue on Saturday, July 4, for his Together, Together tour.

Guinness World Records and Wembley Stadium posted a photo of Harry and his tour team accepting the world record certificate.

“Record-breaking moments are rarely achieved alone, and this is a true example of what we mean when we say everyone can be part of it,” the post reads. “Congratulations, Harry and team.”

While on stage Saturday, Harry took a moment to thank his One Direction bandmates.

“I wouldn’t be on this stage if it wasn’t for four friends of mine that were a massive part of this journey," he said. "I wanna thank Niall [Horan], Louis [Tomlinson], Zayn [Malik] and my dear friend Liam [Payne] for these nights and everything that I learned in this time, the friendship, everything."

Harry’s older sister, Gemma Styles, also joined him on stage to commemorate the historic run.

“I’m so proud of you,” she said. “And not just proud because you’ve done things like this, which nobody does. I’m proud of who you are, and who you allow other people to be and the impact that you have on so many, not least on the ones who get to love you in real life and what a privilege that is.”

On Monday, July 6, Wembley Stadium posted a highlight video of night 12, which also included a Pride celebration and the unveiling of a banner for the record-setting residency.

Harry heads to Brazil next for four nights at Estadio Morumbis in São Paulo, starting on July 17.
