Gloucester County TOP 5 in VA’s Digital Counties


Gloucester County’s Information Technology Department received a 2014 Digital Counties Survey award from the Center for Digital Government (CDG) and the National Association of Counties (NACO). Gloucester placed 6th in counties in the less than 150,000 population category. The focus of this year’s survey was evaluating the results achieved through the use of technology in the areas of cybersecurity, shared services, budget and cost control, mobility/mobile applications, disaster recovery, transparency, virtualization, broadband and connectivity, and governance.
